Story

How I work

I've been excited about software and technology for as long as I can remember. I’m naturally curious and love diving into how things work, always eager to unravel complex problems. I also enjoy helping others see the bigger picture and guiding them through challenges, turning confusion into clarity and progress.

Journey

From factory floors to cloud platforms

My passion for technology started in my early teens with simple websites and game code. I trained as a developer at mydata (2009 to 2012) while running a small web business on the side.

In 2012 I joined INSIDE M2M alongside my studies. I spent six years there on industrial IoT: mobile apps, data-collection platforms and control systems for clients like Melitta, GEZE, Siemens and Liebherr. That work taught me how to integrate stubborn hardware, handle large data streams, and ship something people can actually use.

By 2018 I had earned an M.Sc. Computer Science and started taking on my own clients under the Techlish brand, later as Techlish GmbH. In 2019 I became CTO of CUMI in Indonesia and rebuilt a marketplace that was close to collapsing under its own growth. In 2021 I co-founded powertowork, and sold my shares in 2026.

Since then I have concentrated on long-term client platforms: seven years with Switzerland's largest retail and wholesale group, the KANU learning platform in the US, and the digitalisation platform for 2gether.travel.

Why Work With Me?

Most of my client relationships started with one problem someone thought was unsolvable, and then lasted years. I work on greenfield builds and on systems that have been running for decades.
  • I stay for the long run
  • I build the whole system
  • I make the team faster
Whether that means designing a new platform, leading a team through a migration, or finding the root cause of something nobody can reproduce, you get technical clarity, business context, and a calm way of working through it.

Your Software Should Work for You.
Not Against You.
